MAKING CONNECTIONS TO SUPPORT NM STEM PROFESSIONALS
STEM FRIENDS NETWORK MAP
The New Mexico STEM Friends Network is a collaborative initiative developed through the TODOS (Teachers Organizing Diverse Opportunities Across a STEM Ecosystem) grant. This statewide project is focused on strengthening New Mexico’s STEM ecosystem by fostering deeper, more accessible connections among K–12 educators, STEM professionals, researchers, community leaders, industry partners, and cultural organizations.
Led by Noyce Master Teaching Fellows, the network serves as a living map of STEM activity across the state—helping users easily identify and engage with individuals and organizations involved in STEM teaching, learning, innovation, and workforce development. Whether for classroom support, research partnerships, mentoring, public outreach, or career exploration, the network offers a practical and user-friendly way to make connections that matter.
Rooted in a shared commitment to place-based innovation and guided by the principles of Maize Leadership, the STEM Friends Network promotes collaboration, resource sharing, and long-term relationship-building. By bridging sectors and communities, this project supports a more connected, vibrant, and sustainable STEM future for all New Mexicans.
